Hermetic optical Feedthrough SMA Female
Hermetic optical feedthrough SMA for lower vacuum “10-8mbarL/s” and panel mounting, Fiberdesign developed these feedthroughs equipped with female SMA sockets, the use of adapters is no longer necessary, spectroscopy fiber cables with SMA male connectors can be directly connected.
A robust SMA optical feedthrough made of stainless steel-316L with M12 thread and hermetic sealed with Viton® O-ring.
Designed for High-OH and Low OH multimode step index fiber and with core diameters from 50um up to 1000um.
Crucial in industries and applications where fiber optics are needed inside a vacuum or controlled environment—such as, monitoring thin film deposition and medical device manufacturing.
